\nWorking Hours: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)
\nTotal Weekly Hours: 36 hrs \n\n \n\n### RTO after booking is NOT allowed and is NOT allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a Cancel and DNR ###

\nREQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
\nMinimum Years of Experience: 2 years Experience Required.
\nTraveler Experience: Unit WILL NOT ACCEPT 1st Time Travelers
\nLocals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
\nSkills: Vents, IV Start, Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Continuous IV sedation, CVA/Acute Stroke management, External ventricular drains (EVD), ICP Monitoring, Post Neurosurgery management, Care of Ventilated Patient, Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE, Lumbar Drain experience
\n***Strong Neuro experience, MUST BE 2 YEARS, NO LESS***
\n***STROKE Patients is one of their largest patient populations***
\nCerts: ACLS, BCLS, NIH

\nJOB DETAILS:
\nRATIOS: Ratios 2:1 (can flex up to 3:1 in high census and nurse must be comfortable with this if needed). Average Daily Census 11-12
\nSHIFT: *36 Hours Can Be Offered
\nUnit Will Accept 13 Weeks!
\n12 HOUR NIGHTS; 18:45 - 07:15

\nWeekend Requirement: EVERY OTHER WEEKEND

\nPATIENT DIAGNOSES: We are a comprehensive stroke center. Patient population: strokes (ischemic, hemorrhagic [SAH]), SDH, craniotomies, carotid stents, carotid endarterectomies, aneurysm coiling/clipping, seizures, Depth electrodes, myasthenia gravis. Drains used: EVDs, LDs, hemovacs, Camino (ICP monitoring)

\nSPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Comprehensive Stroke Center
\n
\nSPECIAL EQUIPMENT: EVD, Lumbar Drains, Camino, LICOX, NICOM and Arctic Sun.
\n
\nUNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
\n
\nSCHEDULING TYPE: Per the Unit Needs

\nUNIT ORIENTATION: 24.0 Hours; 2 days or 2 nights

\nSCRUBS: Navy blue & White.
