Job Description & Requirements Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) ‐ School ‐ (SLPA ‐ School) StartDate: 8/26/2025 Available Shifts: 7.5 D Pay Rate: $1550.14 ‐ $1698.55 AMN Healthcare is partnering with a well‐respected school district in Salem, Oregon to hire a highly motivated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a contract position. The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide comprehensive speech and language services that support students' academic and social development. Responsibilities for this role include conducting assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students Throughout the course of the school year, they will provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings. They will monitor and document student progress. Required Qualifications Speech/Language Pathologist Assistant, School\nExperience: New Grad Accepted\nLicenses: SLPA‐OR\n\nMaster's Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) State License is Required to Start the Assignment Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members. Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations Facility Location The state capitol of Oregon, Salem is one of the oldest cities in the state.
