Position Overview KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Manager to join our Mergers & Acquisitions practice. Responsibilities Advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax services including planning, research, and other M&A activities. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team focusing on due diligence and tax structuring, communicating findings and opportunities to clients. Partner with and assist other senior members on technical tax issues related to consolidated returns, S Corps, partnerships, LLCs, and LLPs. Assist clients with current issues such as bankruptcy emergence planning, debt restructurings, tax basis, earnings and profits, and section 382 studies. Develop, motivate, and train staff and manager-level team members. Uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility. Qualifications Minimum eight years of recent experience in federal tax and/or M&A in a public accounting firm, corporate tax department, or law firm. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. Licensed CPA, JD/LLM, or Enrolled Agent, with at least one of the approved credentials. Candidates without these credentials have one year from hire to obtain one. Knowledge of a broad range of corporate tax matters across various industries. Ability to manage multiple engagements and client service teams. Excellent research and writing skills.
