Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

A dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist is sought for a full-time position in Norfolk, VA, focusing on K-12 students across four school sites. This itinerant role requires an in-person presence, allowing for meaningful interactions and support for students' communication needs from August through the end of the semester.

Qualifications:

Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
Experience with teletherapy
Ability to work with diverse student populations, including those with special needs
Familiarity with school-based practices
Strong collaboration skills with educational staff and families
Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Location:Norfolk, VA

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in need
Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate communication goals into the classroom
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment
Manage an itinerant schedule across multiple school sites
