The FORTNA Leadership and Development Rotation (LADR) Program is a 1-year, rotational program committed to the accelerated development of entry-level Professional Services and Engineering talent with a passion for technology, automation, and professional services coupled with a drive for exceptional client service. Through intense training and a variety of business-critical assignments, technical and business skills are developed. LADR graduates have the technical and business foundation to make innovative contributions that help our clients be successful in a dynamic world. The program consists of the following tracks: Project Management, Consulting, Engineering, Electrical Controls Engineering, Client Support, Maintenance and Software Development. Program members are full-time Fortna Associates and work in rotational assignments to accelerate their development and assimilation into the business. The program offers tailored development plans, mentorship and guidance, real-customer projects, and networking opportunities. Primary responsibilities include technically challenging rotations to solve clients’ toughest distribution problems. The commercial function rotation explores different aspects of the business, from sales focused roles to technical roles in mechanical engineering and data analytics. Rotations include Account Manager, Solution Design Consultant, and Solution Architect & Concept Realization, each with specific duties such as market research, proposal building, customer meetings, consulting engagements, data analysis, solution design workshops, and technical design and estimation.
