Job Description

Location: South Central Phoenix

Salary Range: $80,000 – $110,000

Overview:

A leading heavy equipment manufacturer is seeking a results-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee end-to-end warehousing and distribution operations. This role is pivotal in maintaining efficient material flow to support production and ensuring timely fulfillment across both B2B and B2C channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Operations:
  • Manage daily operations including receiving, inventory control, and shipping
  • Oversee safe use of equipment (forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks)
  • Ensure accurate inventory through cycle counts and reconciliation
  • Optimize warehouse layout and material flow
  • Distribution & Fulfillment:
  • Lead order fulfillment across dealer and direct-to-consumer channels
  • Coordinate with logistics to streamline shipping operations and reduce costs
  • Monitor key metrics such as OTIF, freight spend, and lead times
  • Manufacturing Support:
  • Ensure timely delivery of parts to production lines
  • Align inventory with production schedules and mitigate delays
  • Collaborate with procurement and planning teams
  • Leadership & Development:
  • Supervise and develop warehouse staff; manage hiring, training, and performance
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Encourage collaboration across departments
  • Systems & Compliance:
  • Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Leverage ERP/WMS systems (Acumatica preferred) for inventory accuracy
  • Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of warehouse leadership in a manufacturing setting (heavy equipment preferred)
  • Experience with both B2B and B2C distribution
  • Strong knowledge of ERP/WMS systems; Acumatica experience a plus
  • Familiarity with export compliance and large equipment shipping
  • Strong team leadership and communication skills
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
