This position offers a base pay range of $53,370.00/yr - $61,376.00/yr, with actual pay based on skills and experience. Eligibility to apply is limited to certain civil service titles and programs, with potential remote work up to 2 days per week under the Remote Work Pilot Program.

The NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP) aims to protect and improve the economic lives of New Yorkers through licensing, enforcement, and community outreach. The Human Capital (HC) unit supports agency employees and programs, focusing on workforce development initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting compliance with performance management protocols
• Assisting with performance evaluation processes and tracking
• Supporting staff training, onboarding, and HR system updates
• Conducting research on training opportunities and maintaining records

Minimum Qualifications:

• Baccalaureate degree and 3 years of relevant experience, including supervisory experience
• Or an associate degree with 4 years of experience, including supervisory experience
• Or a high school diploma with 5 years of relevant experience, including supervisory experience

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in NYC HR systems (NYCAPS/PeopleSoft, CHRMS, PMS)
• Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
