Employees in this role should possess a minimum of six (6) years of experience in the specific craft and at least four (4) years of continuous Electric Transmission and/or Substation construction and maintenance experience at a supervisory level. The candidate must have skills in site grading, foundations, support structures, bus conductors, switch assembly, control and power cable termination, cable raceways, SCADA, telemetry RTU, and in-depth knowledge of OSHA standards. Responsibilities include: Ensuring work quality and adherence to specifications. Coordinating billings, monitoring safety, quality, and production on-site. Managing equipment use, maintenance, and inventories. Participating in project meetings and coordinating personnel and equipment needs. Reviewing bids, scope of work, and preparing organization for projects. Securing quotes, supporting bid documentation, and reviewing contracts. Organizing construction plans, schedules, and safety plans. Monitoring project progress, safety, and compliance, and maintaining documentation. Participating in safety meetings and ensuring safety policies are followed. Managing project issues related to cost, progress, and schedule. Preparing reports, tracking expenditures, and ensuring proper project close-out procedures. Minimum requirements include: Potential relocation based on work demands. Possession of a valid class “B” commercial driver’s license (preferred). Ability to read blueprints and operate conveyance machinery. Adherence to safety policies and ability to work in various weather conditions. Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds and navigate uneven terrain.
