Direct Hire!
Job Title: Safety Officer (Entry Level ? Bilingual English/Spanish)
Location: Northwest Houston, TX
Salary: $45,000 ? $60,000 (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Monday ? Friday | 6:30 AM ? 3:30 PM or 7:00 AM ? 4:00 PM
Travel: Less than 20% (Occasional out-of-state or international)

What You’ll Do:
You’ll support the development and implementation of a company-wide safety program, build relationships with field and warehouse teams, and deliver engaging safety training. You’ll also gain experience on real job sites and get certified along the way.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety Program Support

• 
  Help maintain safety records, reports, and compliance logs (e.g., OSHA 300)
  
• 
  Assist with the development of written safety procedures and protocols
  
• 
  Participate in safety audits and help implement corrective actions
  

Training & Communication

• 
  Conduct weekly safety talks with field crews and warehouse teams
  
• 
  Lead new hire safety orientations and track PPE assignments
  
• 
  Present monthly safety updates to the office team
  
• 
  Translate materials and facilitate communication in both Spanish and English
  

Field Support & Reporting

• 
  Visit job sites and observe safety practices in action
  
• 
  Collaborate with foremen and project managers to identify risks and solutions
  
• 
  Document findings and provide follow-up reports to leadership
  
• 
  Assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Previous safety experience is required ?whether in a dedicated safety role or with strong safety responsibilities in a related position
  
• 
  Experience in the construction industry is strongly preferred (commercial or field-based environments ideal)
  
• 
  Bilingual ? fluent in both Spanish and English (required)
  
• 
  Confident public speaker and effective communicator
  
• 
  Able to build trust and communicate with team members at all levels?field, warehouse, and office
  
• 
  Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  
• 
  Physically able to walk job sites and climb ladders
  
• 
  Clean driving record and ability to pass a drug screen
